I have fallen in love over the past year with dresses in the colour of pebble, beige, nude – in the neutral range. They are such gorgeous looking colours, that really add pure understated glamour.
This dress has me totally singing, ‘Dancing Queen’ by ABBA (and for anyone who may not know who ABBA were, they were a Swedish band in the 70’s and 80’s that were way bigger than Justin Bieber is… sorry to break that to you) and the 70’s glamour trend is one that continues to be revisited every couple of seasons.
I have fallen in love at first sight with this dress from Bardot! Statement sleeves are the hottest trend right now and the Caught Sleeve Dress features an internal fitted bodice with boning, gathered outer bodice, voluminous sleeves, self covered tie at waist, exposed metal zip at centre back and asymmetrical skirt with side slit. It is sexy without being too overly sexy, ultra stylish and so very sophisticated, that is guaranteed to turn heads when you walk into a room.
I would suggest wearing it with either caged heels or strappy heels in black, keeping all jewellery and accessories to a minimal with just rose gold earrings and a small to medium black clutch. You don’t want to over do it and drown the outfit as the focus is all about this gorgeous dress.
